The Little Talbot board is the closest to where we fished. Fished the last of the incoming and first half of the outgoing tide with dirty water conditions at Fernandina Beach on the morning of 10/29/12. Stiff wind from the wnw with surf averaging 3-4 feet and a strong north to south current down the beach. In 4.5 hours of fishing, we managed 3 small whiting, 1 palometa, 1 short black drum, and a several hardheads and sailcats. We used blue crab, clams, dead shrimp and fishbites for bait. Not a stellar day of fishing, but it beat being at work.
